Claudia Brancart

I’m a multimedia journalist from the rural farming community of Pescadero, California. I became a journalist because I believe everyone deserves to have their stories told. Also, the world can be a confusing place, and I hope my reporting empowers individuals to make decisions in their daily lives. For the last three or so years, I’ve worked at NPR stations in the Midwest, including as a talk show producer at KCUR in Kansas City, Missouri, and as a news intern at WDET in Detroit. To me, the best stories are the ones that illuminate our shared humanity.
